Happy 2025 friends! I truly believe that 2025 is going to be a blessed year full of opportunity! I’m excited to see what this year will bring and I’m even more excited to see God show up in all manners of my life this year. In spite of a lot of things that are already taking place in the world, I believe that the world is going to experience and see God’s sovereignty in a new way this year. People will know who God is.
Over the past 3 days I have been really just been sitting back and allowing God to reveal. Reveal what He has for me, reveal what He wants me to do, where He wants me to go, and all of that comes with it. I didn’t even do a vision board, granted I didn’t do a vision board last year either. Doesn’t mean that I don’t have any goals however I’ve really been working on divorcing the timeline that I have been battling with letting go of for the past few years. In working on letting go of this “timeline”, I’ve been learning how to trust God even when I can’t see anything. Even when things are not making sense I’m learning how to trust God in it all.
One thing that I like to do at the end of every year is set the tone for the beginning of the year. There are specific things that I do because I like to start the year off in ease and in peace. I have been finding myself lately though not letting go of these habits but truly just scaling back on my hold and my narrative and allowing God to lead me in all areas of my life. I share that to encourage you to seek God about everything. Setting the tone begins with seeking God and spending time with Him to see what He has to say about everything concerning your life. Also I encourge you to let go of your idea and image abou your future. That’s not to say to let go of the desire but it’s saying that God is bigger that what our minds can fathom regarding what we see about our lives and our future. God is greater! He will supersede your expectations greatly.
My prayer is that we will trust God fully in 2025. I pray that we will let go of the timeline for our life and give it all to God trusting that because He knows better and greater and that He will not fail us.
