Focus Up: Keep Your Eyes On Jesus

Happy Saturday friends! This week I’m reminded to simply keep my eyes on Jesus. When there’s so many things going on and taking place in our lives it can become easy to shift our focus on those things and those things only. For me I know I tend to get overwhelmed in my mind sometimes with things that are going on and it becomes hard to rest or rejuvenate. In that I was reminded of not only my help but also my source. It’s Jesus.

Sometimes we can become so dependent on self or on earthly things that Jesus becomes our second or last resort. Living in a world that is always pushing go, go, go can be intimidating because you’ll easily feel behind. Or how about the simple day to day things that come with adulting. All of it can be much at times. So the reminder again is to focus on God. It’s to keep our eyes on Jesus. Realizing that the things on this earth are temporary and everything in Christ is eternal. Hebrews 12:2, 2 Corinthians 4:18

Today I want to challenge you to look up. Look up as a reminder of where your strength and help comes from. Where your attention and focus should be.

My prayer today is that we keep our eyes and focus on Jesus who is the perfector and finisher of our faith! I pray that God will be glorified in and through our lives.
