Happy Saturday friends! As I embark on the last day of year 28 and I step into the last year of my 20’s tomorrow, I’m eternally grateful to God for His covering, His love, and His grace. The past few years have been some that has required some true navigating. So many things that I have encountered have stretched me, changed me, and called me be uncomfortable and to step out of my comfort zone. It’s been a ride but I’m still here.
As I prepare to step into a new chapter I kept hearing the word love. I believe this new chapter will be filled with love in many different ways for me. Being able to experience love in a new way. A way that I’ve never known. I believe I’ll experience God’s love for me in a new way. I can honestly say that I don’t know that I’ve truly known God’s love in the way that He has wanted me to. In that, God has been showing me and teaching me about love. A love that’s gentle, kind, patient, caring, graceful. A love that’s sweet. God has been showing me through His love how good it can get and will get for me. Through God’s love He’s pushing me to hope again, to trust Him fully, and to hold on to my faith. It’s new.
As reflect on the last 28 years I am choosing to remain hopeful and holding on to my faith and trust in God in every area of my life, with all my desires and all of my needs. I trust that God will indeed blow my mind.
My prayer today is that as I step into a new chapter that there will be new grace, new covering, new mercy, new protection, new strength, new peace, new experiences, new encounters, new new new!
